Fire Protection Technician (Lower Mainland)

Community Fire Prevention is a well-established Fire Protection company in business for over 30 years and seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in annual and monthly testing of Fire & Life Safety equipment in all major ASTTBC Fire disciplines.
Your primary focus will be to perform testing, inspection, service, repairs and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm and sprinkler systems from a variety of manufacturers, including but not limited to: Mircom, Notifier, Edwards, Firelite, and Siemens panels and Viking, CSC, Tyco, and Grinnell Fire Sprinkler Valves. Additional Backflow Certification and Smoke Control considered an asset.
Technicians also work on-call (Roughly every 10 weeks) after hours based on rotation with a significant bonus per individual call-out.
ASTT certified designations ideally in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting, Smoke Control and BCWWA Backflow Testing certification.
